Today we spent some time talking about Internet safety.  We also created our own avatar to keep in order to keep our identities safe.  Do you think there should be laws that require parents to monitor their children's Internet use under the age of 16?  If you do not feel they should how can the police enforce laws concerning child predators in a more successful way?

Your homework for tonight is to think of a piece of technology that you would like to do a presentation on.  We will be looking at new ways to present materials to classes tomorrow.  Technologies can include: CD's, DVD's, MP3 Players, PS3, etc.  Think of something that is new that we haven't seen before.  You will have to have your topic approved by me prior to starting this.  Make sure you put what you choose at the bottom of your blog post and I will comment on it.

iGoogle

Well today we are spending the whole time looking at the wonderful amazingness of Google... Yes I said amazingness...  Any ways.. Google has EVERYTHING you could ever want.  iGoogle is just a sample of the new things that we will be exploring.  Tell me in a post what you think about iGoogle.  How do you think it will make life more simple for you. 

We will also be exploring Google Docs.  How do you think this could be helpful for you in the future?

Gossip, gossip all around but no one is willing to stand around... Gossip is a hurtful and mean way to slander people.  It can be done verbally or in a different form, cyberbullying.  What are your views on cyberbullying?  Do you think it is something schools should have a say in?
